0940 – ACs’ Response to Recent Developments in Financial Reporting

ACs are facing increasing challenges in the light of the EAR, new major accounting standards and the convergence of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards to IFRS. With market participants paying greater attention to the corporate governance practices of listed companies, it is important for listed companies to strengthen corporate governance practices that better support sustained corporate performance and maintain investors’ confidence in our capital market.
