CorpPass is a corporate user authentication service designed to facilitate online transactions with government agencies on behalf of organizations. Starting from September 2018, all entities must utilize CorpPass for government transactions. It caters to both local entities with a Unique Entity Number (UEN) and foreign entities. Local entities without a UEN can continue using SingPass as their login method.
Various Roles within CorpPass CorpPass encompasses different roles, each requiring the appropriate individual to fulfill them. Registered Officer (RO) The Registered Officer is the officially registered individual with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) for a specific entity. The RO has the authority to nominate a CorpPass Admin and approve registration requests. Typically, the Registered Officer holds the position of director or corporate secretary within the company. However, possessing a CorpPass account is not mandatory for the Registered Officer unless they choose to assume the CorpPass Admin role.
CorpPass Administrator (Admin)
A CorpPass Admin manages Government-to-Business transactions on behalf of the company. The Admin is granted authority by the RO to create CorpPass accounts and manage access to digital services for the entity. To be a CorpPass Admin, one must be a director or company secretary with a SingPass account.
CorpPass Sub-Administrator (Sub-admin)
A Sub-admin is an individual authorized by the Admin to assist with managing CorpPass accounts on behalf of the entity. Only the CorpPass Admin can create a sub-admin account. The sub-admin can be located overseas and does not require a SingPass account.
CorpPass Enquiry User
Both the Admin and Sub-admin can create a CorpPass Enquiry User account. This account allows users to transact with government digital services and view the entity’s CorpPass setup details.
CorpPass User
A CorpPass user can engage in Government-to-Business online transactions, such as Payroll/HR. The entity’s CorpPass Admin must create a user account for the CorpPass User.
